Vancouver Island Women Connect Launches “Warmth for Women”
Holiday Collection Campaign
The Vancouver Island Women Connect (VIWC) community has launched its annual Holiday Collection Campaign to support women in need across the Island.
This year’s campaign, “Warmth for Women,” focuses on collecting essential winter items and self-care goods — including shoes, scarves, gloves, toques, toiletries, and gift cards.
The initiative invites local businesses to host official drop-off points and encourages community members to volunteer their time sorting, packing, and delivering donations throughout December.
“This campaign is about women helping women — creating comfort, connection, and hope across our communities,” said VIWC Founder.
